Charge Module AC


Charge Module AC (CMAC) adds ISO 15118-2, ISO 15118-20, Plug & Charge, bidirectionalcharging (BiDi) and smart charging communication to AC wall boxes and public charging stations.

It is a dedicated AC SECC module / charging communication controller and enables highlevel communication between the EV and the host charge controller.

The module is equipped with a Qualcomm QCA700x HomePlug Green PHY PLC chipset and a powerful Cortex M4 running a realtime operating system with chargebyte’s AC charging communication stack included.

AFIR-ready AC Charging Communication

Charge Module AC supports communication features relevant to the Alternative Fuels Infrastructure Regulation (AFIR), including ISO 15118, Plug & Charge, and smart AC charging functionality.
