eMove360°: chargebyte presents new powerline modules and communication controllers for charging stations

Efficient charging solutions based on software and hardware for e-vehicles in focus at the trade fair

Intelligent charging for clean mobility of the future - leading high-tech companies will show how these goals can be achieved at eMove360° from October 17 to 19, 2023 at Messe München. Also at the start will be charging communication specialist chargebyte in Hall A6, Booth 610 with its hardware and software solutions for electromobility. Interested visitors can experience the new powerline module PLC Stamp Multi at the booth as well as learn more about the charging communication controllers Charge Control D and Charge Control F. As part of the event, chargebyte's CTO Dr. Stefan Nagel will give a presentation on "Simplifying Charging Communication with chargebyte Modules" in the "Charging & Energy" forum on Tues. Oct. 17 (2:00 - 2:20 p.m.).

The eMove360° opens its doors for the seventh time and stands out as the world's most important B2B trade fair for electric mobility and autonomous driving. The focus is on the topics of Charging & Energy, Battery Technology, Automated Driving, as well as e-mobility in the commercial vehicle sector. These topics will also be the focus of the English-language eMove360° Future Mobility Conference 2023, which will be held in parallel as an accompanying high-tech congress on all three days of the trade fair.

Powerline Module PLC Stamp Multi

For the first time chargebyte presents the HomePlug Green PHY powerline module PLC Stamp Multi based on multiple PLC SoCs at the exhibition. The powerline module for electric vehicle supply equipment (EVSE) and EV offers a variety of different PLC chips on one footprint. Currently supported are chips from VertexCom MSE1022, LUMISSIL IS32CG5317 and QUALCOMM QCA7005. These are PIN-compatible and communicate via both SPI and an Ethernet interface.

Charge Control D

The charge controller is the first product from the new series of charge cores. Based on a Real-Time Operating System, the controller manages all the operations of a DC charging process, from communication with the vehicle to control of the power electronics and interaction with a backend. The Charge Cores are a series of charge controllers from chargebyte GmbH, which are based on a system-on-module and are equipped with all functions for charging. The Charge Control D has an interface which can be plugged onto a carrier board to enable the highest level of integration of a charge controller into a wallbox. The communication standards DIN 70121, ISO 15118-2 and ISO 15118-20 are fulfilled.

Charge Control F

The communication controller can be easily added to the existing charging station hardware thanks to the integrated connectors. Just like its predecessor, the controller manages the entire charging process, so the user no longer has to worry about communication between the charging station and the e-vehicle. The controller can be used directly and is DIN 70121, ISO 15118-2 as well as ISO 15118 -20 compatible.
