HeyCharge and in-tech smart charging create innovative product for charging communication in buildings and underground garages
Billing and controlling the charging process for e-vehicles normally requires a stable mobile network and Internet. However, this is often not ensured in buildings, especially in underground garages. This is where the SecureCharge technology from HeyCharge comes in. It makes charging processes possible without an internet connection or mobile network. In cooperation with the communication controller Charge Control C from in-tech smart charging, hardware and software producer for all aspects of powerline communication, an innovative product for charging inside buildings has been developed. The charging process can be easily enabled via local mobile APP instead of using a backend system or RFID.
With this solution, users will be able to perform all important operations easily and conveniently via HeyCharge app in the future. Now that the hardware and software integration has been completed, the product is available for the market. Charging infrastructure manufacturers can integrate the solution.

The Board Charge Control C has already been successfully produced and distributed worldwide by in-tech smart charging for several years. Companies can easily add their own developed hardware modules via an expansion connector and are given options to customize the software. Due to this open plaftform concept, HeyCharge was able to integrate their own solution very quickly. HeyCharge's expansion board automatically connects to HeyCharge's mobile app via Bluetooth or NFC.
Customers of in-tech smart charging can now use the additional feature for themselves afterwards, because the solution also works on already produced AC charging stations with a hardware extension and a software update. As a result, e-vehicle drivers will in future have the option of seamlessly charging their vehicles via ISO 15118. HeyCharge and in-tech smart charging will also cooperate on other current topics such as KfW-eligible charging stations, the calibration law and plug and charge functionalities.
The joint solution from HeyCharge and in-tech smart charging is simple and intuitive to use. It provided clear representations of all charging processes. Billing will also be possible via the app in the future. HeyCharge has set itself the goal of equipping dual chargers with Charge Control C for the market in the future, in order to allow installers to benefit from one-time installation costs in larger construction projects.
