chargebyte expands its product portfolio and enters into a long-term partnership with EVerest initiator PIONIX. The open source software EVerest will be integrated in all charge controllers in the future. Additionally, the charging solution will be offered to all chargebyte customers as an open operating system (backward compatible). These innovations represent the first steps in the newly formed partnership between charging solution providers chargebyte GmbH and PIONIX GmbH.
"Our claim is to offer a suitable solution for charging control and charging communication for every customer need and every charging station architecture. By working with PIONIX, we can expand our product portfolio in the direction of open source offerings and come a big step closer to our goal," explains Thomas Wagner, CEO of chargebyte GmbH.
As an additional benefit of the partnership, chargebyte's existing, very well tested and validated feature stacks for ISO 15118-2 and DC standard will be adapted and made available to the EVerest community.
