Pre-series: Open Charge Point Protocol is a specification developed by the OCA Open Charge Alliance.
OCPP 1.6 has been established as connection to CSMC backend systems from several providers. Certification testing with the OCA is available for version 1.6. Conformance testing for OCPP 2.0.1 is not yet fully developed and released. OCCP 2.0.1 is the current specification that exists as a consistent evolution of the open protocol for charging point control.
One highlight is the integrated Plug and Charge feature, which also works with an extension of version 1.6.
