chargebyte GmbH presents the B-Sample of its charge controller "Charge Control D" for DC charging stations for the first time at today's Power2Drive. The sample already contains all the necessary functions for charging a vehicle and enables early integration into complete charging systems. The charge controller is the first product from the new series of Charge Cores. The controller, which is based on a real-time operating system, regulates all the processes involved in a DC charging process, from communication with the vehicle and control of the power electronics to interaction with a backend.
The Charge Cores are a series of charge controllers from chargebyte GmbH, which are based on a system-on-module and are equipped with all functions for charging. The Charge Control D has a large interface that can be plugged onto a carrier board to enable the highest level of integration of a charge controller into a wallbox. "With our Charge Control D, we want to push DC charging further, including in the new segment of DC wallboxes," said Thomas Wagner, CEO of chargebyte GmbH. "After intensive development, we are able to bring our near-series B-Sample to the market, a charge controller that uses fewer resources with full functionality and allows for a compact design of the charging point."
